| GLOBALMED, LLC has been issued formal approval by KBR (formerly Kellogg, Brown and Root) identifying the Louisiana Company as an approved provider of medical services for KBR’s LOGCAP III (Logistics Civilian Augmentation Program) Contract in Iraq. GLOBALMED provides medical services to 13 subcontractors of KBR and is currently in negotiations with 3 additional LOGCAP III subcontractors. “The KBR approval process is extremely complex and many medical, as well as administrative, requirements and qualifications must be met prior to approval of any medical service provider in Iraq”, states Jaime Richaud, GLOBALMED General Manager of Iraq Operations. “GLOBALMED is a rapidly expanding company which has almost doubled its list of clientele since it’s inception in late November 2005. Although GLOBALMED, LLC is a fairly new company, our dedicated medical and administrative staff has vast knowledge and experience in International Medicine. The experience of our staff was very beneficial in facilitating a very smooth approval process for our company.” GLOBALMED is the largest approved medical service provider in Iraq. Our current staff for Iraq operations consists of 13 Physicians, 1 Dentist, 39 nurses, 3 laboratory technicians, 4 X-ray technicians, 3 paramedics and 10 administrative staff. GLOBALMED began its Iraq operations in late November of 2005, with 8 clinic sites strategically located throughout the Iraqi theater. Now GlobalMed operates 26 stationary medical clinics and 4 mobile medical teams. The company provides medical screenings, emergency and non- emergency evaluation and treatment, emergency medical evacuation services as well as occupational health and safety education to the employees of various civilian subcontractor employees |
